At Streetly Vets we are committed to providing the best service for your pets. As sisters Cora and Jamie know the importance of family and understand that your pets are part of your family too.
Cora and Jamie are local girls who grew up in Sutton Coldfield. From a young age they both knew that they wanted to become vets, following in their Grandfather's footsteps. With more than 25 years experience between the sisters, they have the skills and knowledge to look after your pet.
Having lived happily in Streetly for years it seemed a shame to Cora and Jamie that there was not a vets in the area. They are dedicated to making Streetly Vets a valuable part of the local community and committed to providing the best service to the area that they call home.
As a completely independent, family owned veterinary practice, Streetly Vets is able to concentrate on Dr Cora & Dr Jamie's priority - treating your pet like one of the family. With a fully equipped modern operating theatre, they can provide a full range of veterinary surgical procedures on site - there's no need to send you miles away to a "main branch".
Probably one of the most emotional and difficult decisions a pet owner has to face is losing a beloved pet. At Streetly Vets, euthanasia and cremation services are operated with the utmost care and sensitivity by our staff.
Streetly Vets provide a euthanasia service where you and your pet will be treated with our customary compassion. We will tailor this sensitive service to suit you. We can discuss all of the available options with you on the day or before if you prefer.
At Streetly Vets implanting a microchip is simple and effective and can be done in a quick appointment with one of our veterinary surgeons or nurses.
Streetly Vets are pleased to provide free weight clinics with one of our qualified nurses. Pets will receive a full nurse consultation, assessment of body condition score and tailored weight loss regime including dietary advice and exercise plan.
If you have a veterinary emergency please call us on 0121 572 6527.
If your emergency is out of hours, phone and follow the instructions on the answerphone message.
Imaging technology allows your vet to “see inside” your pet without surgery. We use two forms of imaging at Streetly Vets – Digital Radiography (x-ray) and Ultrasonography. Many people are already familiar with these from their own experience of having an x-ray taken for a broken bone or having an ultrasound during pregnancy.
To ensure your pet remains healthy we strongly recommend the regular use of flea & tick treatments and worming products. Come and talk to one of our team and we can work out what preventative healthcare your companion needs.
We believe in providing the best preventative health care available. We offer the appropriate vaccine for your pet from age 6 weeks through their senior years.
Regular dental hygiene is the most effective way to prevent dental disease in your pet. We can recommend the most appropriate method to keep your pets’ mouth and general condition healthy.
From the simplest surgeries such as neutering, to more complex surgical procedures, our practice operates with safety and comfort in mind.
