Personal Information

After graduating in 2010 from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, I started my career working with companion animals in Wolverhampton. My main area of interest in the profession is soft tissue surgery. After 2 years working as a veterinary surgeon I took a 4 month career break to go travelling around Asia and New Zealand with a fellow equine vet from university. On my return to the UK, I moved back to my home town of Sutton Coldfield and worked in a busy small animal practice nearby; improving my skills, in particular small animal surgery. Prior to opening Streetly Vets at Christmas 2015 I had been locuming in various practices around the West Midlands. Working in a number of different practices has given me a wide experience of different approaches to the veterinary profession.

Outside of work my children keeps me busy. In my spare time I love to socialise with family, school and university friends. I am very passionate about skiing and try to and hit the slopes as often as possible in the season. I also like to keep fit by swimming, running, tennis and yoga. Another love of mine is baking, which my French partner loves to sample.  I love anything crafty such as pottery, crochet, amigurumi, photography and painting.
