The Pokémon Go craze is taking the country by storm if the number of people wandering around staring at their phones is anything to go by. At Streetly Vets we prefer real animals to virtual ones, but if you are bringing the kids with you to the practice during the school holidays, they may be more keen if they know that they can visit a couple of PokéStops on Blackwood Road.
There are PokéStops over the road at Streetly Library and at Blackwood Methodist Church, there is also a Pokémon Go Gym at Streetly Evangelical Church at the other end of the parade from our practice. As Streetly isn’t overly blessed with PokéStops this is a great opportunity to top up on Poké Balls.
Don’t worry if this means nothing to you, the kids will understand and if your dog likes walkies, then make sure to take advantage and send them when the children go out looking for Pokémon.
